About the place

Hey guys, 

My room is available for sublet for 5 months, from 14/03/25 till 14/08/25. Rent is 500€ p/mo incl. The location is Van Eysingalaan. 

Accessibility is great - the house is 10 minutes by bike from Utrecht Centraal with multiple bus and tram stops about 2 minutes away. It's super close to Ah, Jumbo, Lidl and there's a Sportcity and Basic Fit right around the corner.

The room is 11-12 m2 and furnished. It has a closet, a double bed, shelves, a desk setup, and a chest of drawers. Any other misc stuff can be re-arranged or stored elsewhere to make space. There’s also a shared garden and storage room in the apartment for your bike and any other stuff.

You share a kitchen, restroom, shower, and balcony with two housemates - Jake, 30 (a game designer) from the U.S. and Thijs, 29 (a mental health coach) from NL. The house doesn't have a living room as the individual rooms have all been rented out independently. The spoken language at home is English - but there's really no preference when it comes to nationality/background etc. We cook often and our kitchen is small but super stacked with most of what's required. The vibe in the house is chill and quiet - everyone’s got their individual work and stuff going on but every now and then - we catch up for a drink/meal. 

Looking for someone who is experienced living with others and can take care of the space well - keep the room and surroundings clean. Communication is important - so being clear and responsive . Preference would be someone in and around our age - easier to slot into the rhythm of the house. 

The room is available as I'm travelling to AU for 5 months so I'm looking for someone for this entire period. This is a sublet. So, the place would be ideal for anyone looking for a temporary base in Utrecht.
