About the place

Dear people,

Since a room is becoming available, we are looking for a new housemate. It's a nice house in Utrecht Lunetten, located opposite the shopping center. The house can be accessed via a balcony overlooking the courtyard, which has plenty of green space and ample parking.

The room we are renting overlooks the south with windows, where the roof terrace is also located. The room is square, has an area of 14m2, and is in good condition. There are shelves on the walls that can either stay or be removed. Additionally, there is storage space under the slanted wall where many items can be stored. WIth the pictures, the 2nd and 3rd pictures are the private room we rent out (these pictures were taken when it was still used as an office).

On the ground floor, there is a spacious kitchen-living area that is fully furnished and equipped with all the usual cooking utensils, etc. This space, the toilet, and the shower will be shared among the four of us. A final communal space is the large roof terrace (60m2).

The supermarket, bus stops, train station, and park are all easily accessible on foot, and both the city center and Uithof can be reached in about 10 to 15 minutes by bike.

As mentioned, we will share the house among four people. I am the main tenant (the house belongs to my parents), and I will determine the house rules in consultation with the other residents. Although some of us are still studying, we are certainly not a party/student house that hosts lots of shared activities. Therefore, we prefer a new housemate who is calm, leaves the common areas clean, and has no trouble following the house rules.

We are looking for a new housemate starting from the 16th of november, but we could possibly discuss you moving in sooner. Depending on the responses, we would host the viewing of the room sometime next week (weeknumber 44) (probably on a weekday in the afternoon or early evening). Please note, this room will probably only be available for a period of 6 months.

If you are interested, please send a message briefly introducing yourself (study/work, hobbies/interests, personality/quirks). A number of people will be invited to visit the room one at a time. You will definitely meet me there, and the other housemates if they happen to be home.
