DESIRED PROFILE

This living space is particularly suitable for a tidy, quiet female student (Dutch/international) who is temporarily staying in Utrecht for study, internship or exchange.
Only women due to the shared bathroom and female housemates.
Exclusively for female students or (guest) PhD/researchers with a temporary study/research appointment.


RENT

The monthly rent consists of the following components:
- Base rent: €739.42 (according to the Dutch Housing Valuation System for non-self-contained accommodation)
- Advance payment utilities: €75
- Compensation for use of furniture and soft furnishings: €30
- Advance payment service costs (maintenance contract incl. 24-hour service, concierge/supervision & minor repairs, administration costs for service charge handling, cleaning and maintenance of common areas, exterior window cleaning, use/maintenance of movable property in common areas, waste collection levy): €40


OTHER INFORMATION

The tenant is liable for damage caused by their own actions, by housemates or by visitors of the tenant (art. 7:218 and 7:219 Dutch Civil Code).
It is strongly recommended to take out a private liability insurance (AVP) that covers these risks. Without such insurance, the tenant bears the full risk of uninsured damage, which can have significant financial consequences.
An AVP insurance covers damage that the tenant (or their housemates/visitors) accidentally causes to third parties or to the rented property. The cost of such insurance is usually around €5 per month.
