About the place

Temporary roommate wanted in this former farmhouse! The bedroom in question is furnished and measures 6m². The entire house is approximately 115m² and is already furnished. The living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom are shared with us: Pepijn (30) and Nicole (25). The house is owned by the province of North Holland. The house is being demolished at the end of the year, so unfortunately, we all have to move out then. Hence the short-term contract.

The entire poperty (garden) is approximately 1000m². We have three sweet bunnies who live in an outdoor pen. I (Pepijn) am taking care of the bunnies, but they of course enjoy the extra attention ;)

Until this month, we lived with a third roommate, but she unfortunately moved out. Hence the search for a new roommate. Pepijn is 30 and working, while Nicole is 25 and studying (and also working).

The rural surroundings of Uitdam are beautiful, yet Amsterdam is just a stone's throw away. Public transport options: The neighboring village (Broek in Waterland) has an excellent bus connection to Amsterdam. An (express) bus runs every 6 minutes, taking you to Amsterdam Central Station in 17 minutes. But you'll first need to cycle to Broek in Waterland, the neighboring village (20 minutes). In total, it will take you about 40 minutes to reach the city center.
Cycling is also an option, but it's a long way. Amsterdam Noord is a 35-minute bike ride away. Amsterdam city center is at least 50-55 minutes.
