About the place

Right in the vibrant heart of Kralingen, Rotterdam, you’ll find my room: a bright and pleasant space of 25 square meters. The room is both practical and stylishly furnished, offering everything I need for comfortable living and working. As soon as you enter, the large desk catches your eye, complete with several chairs—perfect for long work sessions or sitting together with friends or colleagues. Against the wall stands a spacious wardrobe, where I can neatly store all my clothes and belongings.

What makes my room truly special is the presence of a piano. Music is my outlet, and it’s wonderful to be able to play for a while after a busy day. The bed is positioned so that I can look out onto the built-in balcony right from bed. This little balcony is my favorite spot in the room; I love enjoying the morning sun or a cup of coffee here while overlooking the lively street below.

The house itself is spacious, with a total living area of 225 square meters. Together with the other residents, I share a beautiful rooftop terrace, where we often have barbecues in the summer or simply relax together after a long day. The location in Kralingen is ideal: everything I need, from supermarkets to cozy cafés, is within walking distance. Plus, I can easily get to campus or the city center of Rotterdam.
