About the place

Hi room seeker,

As our housemate is moving out, his room on Mathenesserweg will become available. It’s a nice room in a quiet house shared with three others. The housemates are all around 27 years old and working. During the week it’s usually calm because everyone is busy, but we also cook and eat together, and sometimes play a game or watch a series in the evenings.

In the photos the room is still furnished, but it will be delivered unfurnished (with flooring and curtains). The furniture will therefore be removed. The bed frame can remain upon request (but can also be removed if preferred).

The living room is very spacious for four people, and there is a large 80 m² garden, ideal for when the weather is nice.

The basement room (which stays pleasantly cool during the summer months) will be delivered unfurnished (with flooring and curtains). The end date of the sublease is negotiable. We expect to terminate the lease of the house sometime in the summer, though the exact date has not yet been determined. Of course, we will communicate this in time.

It’s about a 10-minute bike ride or tram ride to Rotterdam Central, and a 3-minute walk to the nearest metro station. From there, you can reach Schiedam Centrum station within 3 minutes.
