In the past, we have happily hosted female students from the Netherlands, Spain, France, Slovakia, Belgium, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Indonesia, and Poland for 6 to 12 months. They were studying or doing internships in Leiden or The Hague. A washing machine and dryer (including detergent) are available and included in the rent.

A second, slightly smaller room will become available for rent as of July 1, 2025 (slightly cheaper). This room is currently occupied by a student and will soon be listed on Kamernet. The third room belongs to my two daughters (22 and 24), who occasionally stay here. They both study at universities and live in student housing in Leiden and The Hague.

We have agreed to rent only to female students, as there is just one bathroom and toilet. The atmosphere in the house is very relaxed, and everyone feels safe and at home. The house and garden are spacious enough to have privacy. Each room can be locked from the inside. The main resident has a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) from Takecare BNB. A bus stop to Leiden or The Hague is within walking distance.
