About the place

Accessibility:
It’s a 20-minute bike ride from Leiden Central Station and the city center. There’s also a bus stop right in front of the house that takes you to the station or the city center in about 10 minutes.


General:
The room is located in a spacious family house with 4 individual rooms, and shared living room, kitchen, garden, bathroom, and laundry room. The rent is excluding gas/water/electricity/internet/washing machine use, and excluding annual municipal taxes (around €230 per year per person).


Housemates:
The house is shared with 3 women:
Muireann, 25, Irish, studying a Masters in Political Theory at Leiden University
Sylvana, 28, Dutch, working full-time as an educational psychologist
Svitla, 34, Ukrainian, working part-time in Marketing and Communication and studying Psychology at Leiden University


Living together:
In the house, we like to catch up and share stories about our day and have coffee together. We enjoy sharing meals, though usually everyone cooks for themselves because of different schedules. We keep the house clean and tidy together and have a cleaning rota for this.
