About the place

Dear room-seekers,

We are looking for a third housemate from the 1st of Febuary 2025 till the 1st of Febuary 2026 (with option to extend) in our house in the Molensteeg. It’s a 5-minute bike ride away from the train station and in walking distance of the Hoogvliet, the University Library and most of the enjoyable places in the city centre of Leiden. 

The room in question is a first floor space which is 9sqm (the first three pictures on the ad). The monthly rent will be €450 excluding utilities (gas, water & electricity). These costs will be shared between the occupants. There’s also a 2 month rent deposit. In addition to your own room, you’ll be sharing a restroom, a bathroom, a living room/kitchen and a small garden. We have a washing machine on the attic space, which is also used as a bedroom. Hence why we only use it in agreement. 

To introduce ourselves:
My name is Morris (23), I’m from Amsterdam, have studied History in Leiden and am currently working at CORPUS during my interim period. I play football at Football Factory, occasionally make music or write stories and like to go to the movies. Although I sometimes retreat from social interaction, I still like to organise a spontaneous day out or a fun night at home. 
I‘m Nora (20) and I‘m from Germany. I just started my studies in International Relations in The Hague this September. During my free time I like to read, spend time with my friends and do sports. If it’s not exam period I’m always down to play some games, cook together or just have a chill night in. 

We’re looking for someone who is a bit further into their study years or already working, is not planning to turn everything upside down, but is still excited to have a great time and do things together. We also try to have dinner and do something fun once a week on 'huisavond'. Right now it's on monday evening, but we're willing to do it on a different day when it suits all three of us the best.
