About the place

Hi! Starting june 1st I have a room available on the 1st floor of my house. It's about 15m2 and comes fully furbished - bed and mattress, sheets, clothes cabinets, pc, desk. It has a northerly street view from the window.

The house is in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, secluded from the noise and bustle of the city, but at the same time just a stone's throw away from it's amenities. The central train station is just a 5 minute bike ride away, and most important university facilities, such as the Hortus, the KOG and the university library are equally close. The house has 120+ m2 living area. We share a large living room, kitchen, bathroom, two toilets and laundry room. There's a large backyard and a roof terrace, great for bbq's, which we like to have! 

The house is fully furnished, all furniture in the common areas has been provided and is available for common use, as well as all major appliances and electronics (fridges, washer, dryer, microwave, oven, bbq etc.) We have a nintendo wii and a ps4 in the living room.

A little bit about myself.

I'm Max, the owner and i'm 35, male. I work in the financial sector in Leiden. I like sports, gaming, reading and writing. 

The other roommate is Alis, 30, male, working in IT. He's a great guy. Chill, friendly. He likes gaming and cooking. Both of us are Dutch, languages spoken are Dutch and English. I do French and German too, but quite poorly. 

My preference is that everyone in the house vibes well and that we have an added value to each other as roommates. I've been renting out rooms for over 14 years now, often to internationals, and it's such fun to get to know new people and have a good home atmosphere! I really like everyone to feel at home. We have a preference for a male roommate who also works or is finishing their studies.

Rent and all utilities, taxes etc. comes down to 850 euro's per month. There is a safety deposit of two months, so 1700 euro's.
