About the place

For our upstairs apartment I am currently looking for a working professional tenant to occupy a large apartment in Haarlem as of July 1, 2025.

About me:
- I'm a 31 year old working professional from Canada working in the Dutch tech sector.
- I enjoy cooking, writing music and I play various sports.

About the rooms:
- Both rooms are compact, fairly bright with approximately 9m^2 with windows on the side of the room.
- It's a large space, you will access to two rooms (one private bedroom + one private office space).
- The rent is 1047.72 EUR basic rent per month, with gas, electricity, water and internet not included.
- There's a one time contribution of 200 EUR for the washing machine.
- Deposit is 2683.50 EUR.
- The rent is for an indefinite period.
- You must have a permanent employment contract where you make **3x** the monthly rent *gross* (3143 EUR) the rental agency will check your financial documents.

The apartment is located on Lange Herenvest, next to the Amsterdamse Poort on the edge of the historic city centre of Haarlem. We share a spacious living room with a kitchen (and a dishwasher), toilet and office on the first floor, a bathroom, separate toilet and three rooms on the second floor.

There is a grocery store located across the street with a bakery and various shops located within walking distance. The city centre is also located within a 10-15 minute walk.

The apartment is well located for public transit and car travel. It is a 10 minute bike ride to Haarlem station, where you can take the train to Amsterdam or Leiden Centraal in 15 minutes. There is a free parking zone located 200m across from the apartment.
