About the place

Are you looking for a peaceful and bright place to call home? I’m renting out a room in my apartment, ideal for a student.

My name is Helga, and I’m an 18-year-old student starting my studies at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen this year. I’m looking for a roommate to share an apartment with. 

The space includes a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and separate toilet, a shared dining room, and two sunny balconies. In the basement, there is also a large storage space for bikes which ensures the security and safety of your belongings. You would have your own bedroom, fully furnished with a bed, a built in closet, a bookshelf, a desk and an office chair. It’s a quiet and relaxing place — great for studying or unwinding.

The location is very convenient: the apartment is on the second floor and is about 3.5 km from the city centre (around 10 minutes by bike) and 6 km from the Zernike campus. There’s a bus stop right in front of the building, and Groningen Central Station is just a 5-minute ride away.

Within 200 metres, you'll find a small shopping district with a Jumbo, Kruidvat, HEMA, Bruna, a local butcher, and a fresh fruit and vegetable store. And within walking distance there is also an Action and Albert Heijn available. There’s also a bike repair shop just 3 minutes away for quick fixes.

The neighbourhood is full of greenery, including the backyard of the apartment building, which adds to the calm and peaceful atmosphere — even though it's close to a main road.

I enjoy reading and keeping things peaceful at home, and I’m looking for someone who’s tidy, respectful, and appreciates a calm living environment. Smoking isn’t allowed to help keep the space clean for everyone.
