About the place

We are a family of 3 with chickens and a dog. And live on the ground floor and 1st floor.
The tradition of renting rooms has existed in this house on the Hoge Gouwe for more than 40 years, because it is so large and there are so many rooms. Everyone has their own room, and there is also a large communal attic for the other residents with kitchen / washing machine / refrigerator / microwave and shower. There are washing facilities with hot/cold water in every room.
There is a back entrance, where you can put your bike in the shed. A common terrace for the room residents between the chickens, if you want to read a book.
The building is a national monument from 1850, we are quite careful with it. Of course it's just living. We respect each other's privacy, but try to eat together at least once a month.
