About the place

I'm looking for a friendly and responsible temporary housemate to share my cozy house in Gouda. Place is available Feb 1st to July 31st. 

The house is located within walking distance from the Gouda train station and free parking at home. Gouda itself is 20-30 min away from Rotterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht, so very well connected. 

The home is fully furnished, has two bedrooms (one would be yours the other one mine). We would be sharing a spacious living room with a green view. Balcony with sun most of the day (when it decides to show up), and a bathroom with a bathtub. 

I’ve been living in different forms of shared housing for 11 years and really like it. As a housemate I would like to get to know you, and if we are both around I’m always open to share a meal or have a chat. At the same time, I have an active social life and sometimes come home only to sleep and leave first thing in the morning. I often have partners or friends sleeping over sometimes for a night sometimes for a few nights. I’m away a couple of nights a month. 

I try to be a conscious person in terms of resource consumption. Meaning I cook a lot from scratch, avoid food waste, recycle all my trash. If I’m not in the room I’ll turn the light off. I dry clothes on the line. Someone with a similar mentality would be preferred. I’m a clean and tidy person and would expect the same from you. Pets are potentially possible. I do not have any pets, I’m allergic to cats so unfortunately not them.
