About the place

Dear room seeker,

First of all, nice that you are looking at our ad for the room!

At HuizeBB, a room will become available for rent/sublet from February 1st, 2026 until August 1st, 2026, because one of our housemates is going on exchange!

The room is about 24 m², has two large windows, and comes with its own sink. The rent will be around €480, including utilities and service costs. Almost all furniture can stay — only the computer will be taken.

Our house has two kitchens with a dishwasher, three bathrooms, and three toilets. We also have a washing machine, a dryer, and of course a beer fridge. But our real luxury is the cleaning lady who cleans the common areas every week!

Whether you study at Saxion or the University of Twente, both are close by. The house is located in the city centre — about 15 minutes by bike to the university and 5 minutes to Saxion.

We are a large and active student house with 11 people (6 men and 5 women), and we are looking for a fun and sociable subtenant. Right now, all people are Dutch-speaking. We eat together almost every day and enjoy going out for unlimited spareribs or attending parties together. Since HuizeBB is a big house, there is always a door open for some company. What makes our house special is how diverse we are in terms of studies and associations. HuizeBB is a mix of Saxion and UT students, with members of various fraternities, student, study, and sports associations.

Every Monday evening we have our HuizeBB house night, where we all eat together and have drinks until late. Other traditions include our annual Christmas dinner, winter BBQ, and the amazing intro party.
