About the place

I am looking for a new roommate in my beautiful apartment in the city centre of Enschede per 17-09-2025. The room that is becoming available is spacious 33m2 with great views of a nice city square (that does not have restaurants/bars, so no disturbances at night). All the shared spaces are only shared with me. The apartment has a (furnished) living room/kitchen of 33m2, a hallway with spacious storage, a small laundry room, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Our rooms are divided by the living room, so there is a lot of privacy. The apartment is a 7 minute walk from the station and 1-5 minute walk from everything else in the city centre. You can also store your bike in the basement of the building. Do note that the city centre has a lot of regulations surrounding cars, so please look into permit rules if you have a car and want to park closely. 

Who I am looking for:
-	25+ years old (all genders welcome)
-	Heavy preference for someone who is working and is no longer involved in student life, but a serious PhD-/Master-student is also welcome.
-	Someone who is looking for a nice quiet house and who, like me, isn’t into throwing a lot of parties
-	Queer friendly
-	No pets

About me:
I am Sofie, a 26 year old freelance translator. I work mostly from home and I have lived in this apartment for the past 3,5 years. I have many creative hobbies, such as woodcarving, traditional bookbinding, furniture building, embroidery etc. etc. I always have one project or another going on.

I have two inside cats, who I take good care of. I clean the litter box every day and maintain the furniture. I also have a small robot vacuum to take care of the daily hairs. One of the cats loves to sit on your lap, but if you rather have a cat free room, you are of course welcome to keep your door closed. 

It is very important to me to live with someone who I get along well with, but who has their own life. I am not looking for someone to have dinner with every night or to have weekly house nights with etc.
