About the place

Are you looking for a temporary room in one of the nicest neighbourhoods in the Hague? Then you have come to the right address at the Beeklaan! I am going on exchange and am therefore looking for someone to take over my room for the period of September 1st 2025 until January 31st 2026. The house is occupied with 13 other students, but is always quiet. Every now and then a bbq or movie night is organized by and for the housemates, but you are free to join or skip it whenever you want! On a daily basis, all the housemates do their own thing, but of course it's nice to have a chat with each other if you pass each other in the hallway, or are cooking together in the kitchen. Most of us study at Leiden University in The Hague, but we also have a few students at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. The housemates are both Dutch and foreign students.
The house itself has 3 floors, each floor fitted with their own kitchen and bathroom (so this is not shared by all 13 housemates, only with those on your own floor;)). There is also a spacious living room (with a wii) that connects to the garden. 
The rooms that are up for rent include 2 separate rooms of approximately 6m2 (the bedroom) and 5m2 (the living room) for an all-in rent of 494.69 euros per month. During the rental period, my personal items will be removed from the room, but preferably the furniture will remain. However, the latter is still up for discussion. 
The house is located in a pleasant neighbourhood, with both a Jumbo and an AH only a 10 min walk or 3 min bike ride away. With the tram, you are able to reach the center of the Hague within 12 min!
