About the place

Hey room seeker!
Are you looking for a room within cycling distance of TU Delft and the city centre? Unfortunately, our current roommate will be leaving us at the end of September, but luckily for you, that means a room is becoming available in our apartment!
So, who would you be living with? That would be Zake (23) and Kilian (27), two friendly guys who are busy with their studies but, of course, also have plenty of hobbies outside of university. Zake is Brazilian and is studying for an MSc in Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics. He has a lot of different interests, but spends most of his free time on photography and coming up with “would you rather” questions. Kilian is in his final year of an MSc in Biomedical Engineering, regularly goes to the gym and enjoys being creative or going thrifting with friends. Kilian is also a native Dutch speaker, while Zake mainly speaks English, so we naturally have a nice mix of Dutch and English at home. Both Dutch and international students are therefore very welcome!
As roommates, we often end up doing things together, whether that’s watching a movie on the couch or grabbing a beer in the city after a long day of studying. Nothing is ever obligatory, though, and everyone has plenty of space to do their own thing as well.
The room itself is just over 11 m² and comes with a desk and chair, a bed (without a mattress), and a wardrobe. The apartment also has a nice kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom with a washing machine/washer-dryer, a spacious living room with a bar, and a balcony where you can enjoy the afternoon sun all the way until sunset.
The Jumbo, tram stop, liquor store and ice cream shop are all just a stone’s throw away. You can reach the city centre by bike in about 12 minutes, and TU Delft in about 10 minutes.
The rent is €600 per month, including gas, water, electricity, TV and internet, and optionally a Basic-Fit membership.
