About the place

For rent as of October 1, 2025: bedroom/study (14 m2), fully furnished and upholstered, with use of all necessary and usual facilities 

The room is part of a living unit in a double (‘duplex’) house with a shared front door. The unit consists of a living room and kitchen with dishwasher and refrigerator on the first floor, a bathroom with toilet and bath on the second floor, and a cellar. These areas are shared with one other tenant. 

The entire living space is fully furnished and upholstered. Furthermore, there is a large garden with cozy seating areas, and a large garage for bicycles, storage, etc. Use of the washing machine and dryer is shared with me (living in the ‘east wing’ of the double house). 

The house is located in a friendly village with a small shopping center and most common amenities. Bus stop is 2 minutes by foot. Nearest train station is in Sittard, 5 kilometers from the house (12 minutes by bus). Maastricht is 25 minutes by car or 35 minutes by public transport. Heerlen is 30 minutes by car or 45 minutes by public transport. Eindhoven is 45 minutes by car or 75 minutes by public transport

The building is over a century old. I am looking for a calm tenant who respects its vintage and commits to its preservation. I also maintain a household as sustainable as possible. A tenant’s guide with information and instructions is provided, as well as environmentally friendly cleaning supplies.
