About the place

I am looking for a roommate from August onwards for one year! I am nearing the end of my studies at the UvA, and I would love to live with someone between 19 and 26 years old ( preferably a girl or LGBTQ). The room is 8.7 square meters, which gives enough space for a bed and closet! It is also possible to register. The room is not furnished, but the rest of the apartment will be!

It is a 2-bedroom apartment situated on a quiet street in the center of Amsterdam, within the Weteringbuurt neighborhood. The apartment is 50m² and is located on the 3rd and 4th floor (top floors) of a small apartment building. The apartment has large windows facing south and receives lots of sunlight. The building is situated between the Spiegelgracht and the Vijzelgracht streets, and is close to Leidseplein and Heinekenplein with a lot of restaurants, bars and stores within walking distance. Public transportation is located nearby (trams 16, 24, 25, 1, 2, 5, 7, and 10 all within 5 minute walk). 

Layout
Third floor:
Entrance, hall, living room at the front side of the building with large windows. At the backside there is a spacious kitchen. Toilet with a sink, and a storage room under the staircase.

Fourth floor:
Bathroom with shower, sink, and connection for the washing machine. Bedroom with a window to the backyard.

A bit more about me! I always keep busy. I often stay in the library until late (not voluntarily), I am doing a board year with the student council at the UvA, I am in a rowing association, and I also like to see family and friends regularly. 

I'm looking for someone I feel comfortable living with—ideally a woman in her twenties who is still studying or recently graduated. You definitely don’t have to be super tidy; I’m not always perfectly organized myself. My schedule is pretty full with work, social plans, and not much routine, so the most important thing for me is open and easy communication. I’d love to live with someone who’s a bit like me: social, independent, and laid-back.
