About the place

Room in a nicely refurbished apartment around the corner from the University of Amsterdam, University of Applied Sciences of Amsterdam, de Amstel, the Amstel Hotel, famous neighbourhood De Pijp, and the city centre! The apartment is furnished and you can make use of all amenities. The room comes with a closet, mattress, and bed linen. 

The room is only available for temporary rental due to a temporary stay abroad. Therefore, the room is mainly suitable for people looking for a temporary housing solution (due to renovation, house sale, wanting a good base to search for something more permanent, internship, or temporary work in Amsterdam).

You'll share the apartment with one roommate; man, 33 y/o, working professional. Very sociable and friendly. As he's working from home for 1-3 days a week, we prefer a candidate who's not working from home, and preferably goes to the work/uni for 3-5 days a week.

Amsterdam City Centre and all other hip hotspots in De Pijp are around the corner and can be reached by foot. Perfect base for newcomers to Amsterdam who can use it to look for something more permanent in the meantime.

Albert Heijn supermarket and metrostation Wibautstraat are five minutes by foot.

In consultation, the room may possibly be available a few days earlier than February 1, 2025, and for a slightly shorter period than until March 26, 2025.

The total rental amount must be paid in full at the start of the rental period.

- No pets allowed. 
- Room is for 1 person
- Smoking inside/on balcony is not allowed. 
- You can't bring overnight/late night private visitors, or throw any parties. This to protect the peacefulness of the house for the main tenant.
- No parties/big visitor groups allowed
