Hi there,

We have a room in our shared living space for rent available as per the 17th of November 2025. The concept of “The Boathouse” (an actual house next to a Canal) is a cross between hotel and apartment: It is home for up to 6 expats/professionals/students at a time but fully serviced – that means professionally cleaning twice per week (all common areas (x2) and your room incl. linen change (x1)), as well as maintenance + caretaker service.

Location:
The house is overlooking a picturesque canal in trendy Amsterdam South. You are very close to Vondelpark and within short walking distance (<10 mins) of any shop you might need, including several different supermarkets. Within a few minutes of walking you reach many bars, restaurants and coffee places. Tram 2, a few minutes away, gets you to the city center within 10 minutes.

Common areas:
After the spacious entrance area, you get into the open-planned fully equipped kitchen. There is a small terrace on floor one, three white bathrooms with walk-in showers and two toilets shared between the six rooms - all is cleaned twice weekly. There is a washer/dryer room where you can wash personal items as well as an ironing area. 
All rooms and areas in The Boathouse have a contemporary design. As the name suggests, the feel of the house is nautical. This has been achieved by using lots of wood and having navy blue with white as a colour scheme. Artworks complete this look.
The fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso Coffee machine is cleaned twice a week and the coffee and biscuits/brownies are our treat.

Your room:
Your room will be located on the ground floor at the back of the house. It offers a double bed, sink, cupboard, working desk with chair and smart TV with 30 TV channels. French doors leading to the backyard patio – enjoy sun all afternoon long. The room is designed like the rest of the house- lots of wood and having navy blue with white as a colour scheme.
