About the place

Hi everyone,

We (Yassemin and Lorena) are looking for a new housemate as our current flatmate is moving back to Spain. Here are the key details:

Move-in Date:
Ideally from March 1st, but we are flexible for a few days.

Length of Stay:
6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Work & Lifestyle:
We prefer a working professional (no students, sorry!).

About You:
Please keep your introduction short and relevant. Tell us who you are, what you do, and what kind of housemate you are.

About Us (Yassemin & Lorena):
We are both working professionals in retail. Yassemin is multinational, and Lorena is Spanish. We respect each other’s space but enjoy sharing chats, dinners, and drinks.

Rent, Deposit & Expenses:
• Rent: €650
• Utilities (electricity & gas): €60 aprox
• Internet: €26 aprox
• Deposit: €1,300 (2 months’ rent)

• Common Household Expenses: Items like toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products. The cost varies depending on usage, and we divide it equally via Splitwise.

The Room & Apartment:
The room is small but cozy and bright with a large window. It’s unfurnished (except for a clothes rack that can be removed).

Shared spaces include:
• Living room
• Kitchen
• Hallway
• Separate toilet and shower
The area is quiet, close to De Pijp and Amstel Station with supermarkets nearby.

House Rules:
We keep it simple and respectful.
• No loud noise at night
• Guests, dinners, and parties are welcome (just communicate in advance)
• Shared cleaning responsibilities, we are considering hiring a cleaner for common areas.

Selection Process: 
• We’ll review applications at the end of the week (We expect to receive quite a few messages, so please give us some time to go through them. We’ll get back to selected applicants by the weekend).
• House visits will take place on 26/02.
• Final decision by end of the week n.9.
