About the place

The room is very centrally located in the Oetgensstraat, near Wibautstraat metro station. It is available immediately.  Great connections to all Amsterdam train stations,The city center is close - it takes only a few minutes to get there by bike.  The room is available from July 18th.

The Amstel river is 200m away, for a run, walk or a picknick. There is a supermarket next to the building. The room is furnished and is 15m2 in size. It is 515 euros a month excl. The utilities (gas, water, electricity), wifi and local taxes add up to about 200-250 euros a month. Much depends on your use of energy. The room has individual heating, so you can control how much you spend on that. We track our individual energy use so that you pay for what you use. The monthly advance will be compared to the actual use once a year.

The room is in a quiet and bright apartment, on the top floor of a two story apartment. You will be sharing the fully equipped kitchen (on the 3rd floor) and the bathroom (on the 4th floor) and the toilets (one on each floor). There is a female flatmate aged 53, who values living sustainably. There is a chance an exchange student will join us at some point. It is a quiet home.

Included: the wardrobe has been replaced by shelves, and there will be a different chair than in the pictures. The mirror is not there anymore.

The room is available for a maximum of 12 months. The furniture includes a desk, shelves, chair, a double bed, duvet, sheets, pillows, lamps, floor, etc. The apartment has energy label C (one of the best labels). You can control how much you heat in your own room. We take turns cleaning the shared spaces.
