🏡 The Room & Apartment
The room is on the first floor of an apartment complex with a wide staircase. It’s unfurnished, but comes with curtains, a ceiling light, and laminate flooring. There’s enough space for a bed, wardrobe, and desk. A door leads directly to the shared balcony overlooking a green communal garden. No smoking inside the apartment!

You’ll be sharing the apartment with Noah (German/Dutch, 1st-year UvA) and Greta (German, 2nd-year UvA). Shared spaces include:

Fully equipped kitchen
Bathroom with washing machine
Separate toilet
Balcony
Storage room in the basement
The apartment has fast fiber-optic internet and a Netflix subscription included.

📅 Rental Terms
Available for 1 year, with the possibility to extend for 1 more year
Maximum stay: 2 years
Only for students (proof of enrollment required)
Registration possible
Internationals welcome (proof of income or a guarantor required)
Preference for a 1st-year UvA student to share tips and experiences together

💶 Rent & Costs
€650/month + €100 for utilities, service charges, internet & Netflix
€750 total per month (all inclusive)
1 month deposit required before move-in
Yearly municipal taxes (Waterschapsbelasting & Afvalstoffenheffing) are not included and will be split equally between the 3 tenants
