Two Rooms for Rent in a Charming, Bright Apartment

Two rooms available in a charming, bright two-bedroom apartment of approximately 80 m² in the popular Spaarndammerbuurt neighbourhood. You will be sharing the apartment with one other flatmate. The living room, kitchen, bathroom and sunny 10 m² balcony are shared.

The bedrooms are approximately 11 m² and 14 m², respectively.

There is also a separate external storage room that can be used. One of the bedrooms is currently set up as a home office but can be furnished with a bed if preferred.

The living room and other shared spaces are fully furnished. The bedroom can also be rented furnished, by arrangement.

The Apartment

The apartment is located on the second floor and has a practical layout with plenty of natural light. At the front, there is a spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen. At the rear, you will find two generously sized bedrooms and a sunny 10 m² balcony facing southeast.

With five windows at the front and four at the rear, the apartment is exceptionally bright. The rear windows overlook peaceful, green communal gardens.

Furnishings and Amenities

The shared spaces are fully furnished and equipped:

Living room: Large sofa, TV, dining table with six chairs, lighting and artwork

Kitchen: Dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, Nespresso machine, crockery and cooking utensils

Bathroom: Two washbasins, washer-dryer, drying rack and ironing board

Bedroom: Can be rented furnished, by arrangement

Balcony: 10 m², facing southeast

Availability

The room is initially available for six months, with a strong possibility of extending the rental for a further six months, up to a maximum of one year.

Depending on the level of interest, viewings will be organised with several interested applicants during the week of 2–8 November 2026.

The Neighbourhood

The Spaarndammerbuurt is ideally located between Westerpark, the Jordaan and the Houthavens. Within walking distance, you will find two supermarkets, Bbrood bakery, various shops, restaurants and cafés, including Moos and De Walvis.

Westerpark and the Westergasfabriek are approximately a five-minute walk away. The Jordaan, Haarlemmerstraat, the canal belt and NDSM are all easily accessible on foot or by bike. Amsterdam Central Station and Sloterdijk can both be reached in approximately 10 minutes by bike or public transport. The A10 ring road and Coentunnel are also easily accessible.
