You are NOT renting a non-independent studio with your own toilet, shower-bathroom, and kitchen appliances.

You will be the "hospita tenant" of the main tenant.
You will receive a rental contract and pay rent and service charges to the main tenant.
You are required to register in the population register.

This apartment has 2 spacious living-sleeping rooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 eat-in kitchen with all appliances, and a 22 m² roof terrace.

The current tenants are a Spanish couple over 30 years old.
They offer 1 living-bedroom of 28 m² to either 1 person or 2 recognized partners who are unable to find accommodation but work full-time in the Amsterdam region.

The room is for a live-in tenant and is NOT available for 2 friends.
It is available ONLY for 1 person or 2 recognized partners.

The main tenant and their partner will select and conduct the viewing and offer you a "hospita subletting contract," which after 9 months will legally convert into a permanent contract.

Selection criteria:
•	Age (both partners) over 24 years
•	Employment contract for 36+ hours per week, both partners
•	Net salary for 1 person: €3.200,00 or for 2 partners: €2.200,00 each = €4.400,00
•	No smoking, no vaping, no pets
•	You are required by the Housing Act and the Municipality of Amsterdam to share kitchen equipment in the eat-in kitchen to prepare meals with the main tenant.
•	You may never have appliances in your room that can be used to heat or prepare meals. This is strictly prohibited by law.
•	In your living bedroom, you may place a fridge and a sink for washing your dishes.
•	You will share the main bathroom (with bathtub) and the eat-in kitchen with the main tenant.
•	In your 28 m² room, you will have a reserve shower and second toilet, in case the main bathroom is occupied.
•	You will make arrangements with the main tenant for periodic cleaning of the eat-in kitchen with appliances and the main bathroom.
•	You must clean your own room, toilet, and shower at least once a week.
•	The main tenant will check and clean, if necessary.
•	Your room has a lock, but the main tenant has the contractual right and obligation to enter all rooms in the apartment.
•	You will pay €1.440,00 to the main tenant, which includes 50% of €340,00 in additional costs.
