The property has been rented by 2 tenants since November 2024, but is actually too large for 2 people.
You will be the second household – living in.
The 2 primary tenants rent out 2 rooms and constitute the first household.

You will discuss with the 2 primary tenants which 2 rooms you prefer.

You can move in from 16 July 2025.
You can legally register as the 3rd and 4th resident.

You will pay 45% of the rent and 50% of the additional costs for energy, water, internet, and local taxes to the main tenants.

Rent for the 2 rooms is EUR 1.398,00, including furniture and appliances.

You pay an additional EUR 150,00 extra for the following costs:
•	energy network,
•	energy usage,
•	water usage,
•	Wi-Fi internet,
•	local taxes,
•	tenant maintenance and stairwell cleaning.

You pay a total of EUR 1.548,00 for 2 people, including these 6 costs and including inventory and equipment.

Legal Obligations Municipality Amsterdam:
1.	You also coordinate with the main tenant about your share of the housing costs.
The property owner does not determine the rent you pay to the primary tenants.
2.	You will share the kitchen and all appliances with both tenants.
3.	You are required to share the extra bathroom with bathtub and toilet with the 2 primary tenants. The apartment has 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets.
Your own bedroom includes a second shower and toilet.
4.	You are required to register in the municipality's population register.
5.	You must sign a lodger agreement with the primary tenant and pay rent, service costs, plus a security deposit of €2.200,00 to the primary tenant.

Essential: Amsterdam imposes a fine if you live in a home with more than 2 people and do not comply with the 5 mandatory conditions.
