Room:
Living room (in practice for your use only) and bedroom with a great view on the Sloterplas (lake). The person living in this room is usually the main (only) user of the living room. Good wifi/4G connection. Recently renovated and provided with double glazing with built-in ventilation in the window.

Setup of the apartment:
entrance to corridor 1, spacious hallway, bathroom, toilet (separate), kitchen, 3 private rooms (this smaller one, and three larger ones) and living room. The living room is officially for general use, but in practise only used during the day by the person who has the smallest bedroom. Only one other flatmate puts the washing rack there sometimes, so just to know that even though you can use it all day, other people can go in there too.

Location
The building is next to the Sloterplas (small lake) and is just 5 min from Mercatorplein and trendy Jan Evertsenstraat with a large variety of nice coffee places and trendy bars/food places. Alongside Sloterplas 4 places have opened recently and the city initiates events and is improving the streets to attract tourists and locals from the inner city via de Clerqstraat and Jan Evertsenstraat to the Sloterplas area. There is a new beach next to an old little harbour and a new bar/restaurant Hotel Buiten with (nice place incl terraces), especially a popular destination for those going to surf or pay a visit to the bars, beach, pool, Sloterplas and parks around. There is also a run track Rondje Sloterplas, which can so you can do your daily 6 km. Water sports center, 50 m pool (inside and outside), gyms, cycling paths, animal farm. There are various festivals nearby in summer.

Sun and views:
Because of the apartment's high level, the sun can be spotted already an hour before they can at street level and until much later than 'the people below'. It can be welcomed each morning at the front side, so that 'll be with your wake-up coffee(s) from the kitchen to the living room. In the afternoon you can see it from this room at the back of the house. Beautiful year-round sunsets and views.

Your flatmates
You'll be sharing all spaces but the private rooms with 2 fixed other persons. As the owner, I'm one of them and my boyfriend is also there quite often. He also has his own place elsewhere, where we also stay often. We're also out a lot for work, or out of town, so you won't see us much. The other guy is a super friendly, easy going, tidy and quiet British guy and we're looking for the same. I believe we are 'gezellig', easy-going, open-minded for all sorts of people, cultures (and languages!)

You
We're looking for a quiet and tidy full-time working person during normal office hours. Please indicate in a private message what kind of person/flatmate you are, what your schedule looks like (in terms of cooking, quiet hours, out) and what you're looking for (in terms of flatmates and place).

Registration is possible. At this point we can offer a contract for 12 months. If you, all of us and our neighbours are happy, we may decide to offer a long-term contract.
