About the place

Looking for plenty of space, lots of natural light in a swanky modern home, come and visit 2, Buitendijk in Oostzanerwerf, Amsterdam. The backyard deck reaches out to the canal, giving you the quintessential old Amsterdam feel. You’ll spot ducks frolicking around in the mornings! The neighbourhood is surrounded by luscious green trees and there is ample parking space right at the doorstep. 
You will be sharing this beautiful home with me, an engineer working for a car charging company. I’ve been living in Netherlands for some 7 years now and have recently moved into this newly renovated house. 
As you come through the entrance, enter the open kitchen and dining room where you’ll be greeted by sun rays beaming onto the dining table through the skylight ceiling window and the large sliding doors that lead out to the garden deck to a canal.
The luxurious kitchen has a cooking island and various appliances such as an oven, dishwasher, 5-burner stove, refrigerator, freezer and coffee machine. You’re welcomed to set the kitchen ablaze with your culinary skills. Washing machine and dryer are located in the store room just outside the main entrance. 
The first floor consists of a spacious living room and work station. There are windows on both sides of the space bringing in lots of light whilst serving up some scenic views. The living room is furnished with a cushy 2-seater sofa, 2 seating chairs, a coffee table and a Smart TV. You will also have access to the ergonomic work desk and an ergonomic chair placed right at the window for an unmatched WFH/remote working experience. 
The second floor has 2 rooms and 1 bathroom equipped with a bathtub, toilet, shower and double sink. Your room comes with a brand new bed, new mattress, new beddings & linen, new wardrobe. Through the large windows of your room, you’ll enjoy very green views of tall trees as well as the water. 
There’s Dekamarkt and Lidl at a 5-minute walking distance. Molenwijk shopping centre which has Albert Heijn, Blokker and Primera can be accessed on bicycle in 5 minutes. The NDSM is also closeby and has some good restaurants for you to check out. Twiske recreation area is a stone’s throw away.
By bus, you can reach North Station in just 10 minutes and to Central Station / South Station in no time. 
The home has a definitive energy label, namely B, so you’ll be comfortable, warm and crisp all year round.
