About the place

I am looking for a roommate for a minimum of a year to join my 2-bedroom apartment (with registration!) in Amsterdam. Please read the entire post before contacting me!
I have been living in the smaller bedroom but am moving to the larger room. I have only one open spot so no couples please! 
- Registration possible!
- Furnished minus a mattress!
- In Helmersbuurt. It’s a great location, close to lots of transit (Leidseplein, Elandsgracht, and Overtoom are within 10 minutes walk), and on a quiet street.
- All shared areas are furnished and stocked by me!
About me & my ideal roommate:
- I am a 23-year-old master’s student at the VU. I am from New York and have been living in this apartment in Amsterdam for a year and a half.
- For clarity: I’m a tenant in the apartment, and the rent is determined by the landlord.
- I have a cat! He is very sweet and sociable.
- I am queer and transgender, and need a roommate who is comfortable with that!
- Looking for a student or young professional who is clean and respectful of the space!
