About the place

Hi there! 
My name is Missy, and I am leaving back to Canada for some months and will be subletting my room for this time. From mid July we are looking for a renter to come into our cozy chill 2 bedroom apartment in Amsterdam East on the Borneolaan. 

It’s a lovely spacious house 10 minutes bike ride to central station and 5 minutes to the heart of Amsterdam Oost. It’s close to the Brazillie shopping center, the ferries to Noord, and has many restaurants, bars and swimming spots in the area. It stays cool in the summer and has a nice garden for outside hangs/dinners. From July 14th you would be joining my room mate Xavier; 34 years, French male, math professor at the UVA. He is often away to France, so you also have the house to yourself for some of the weeks. 
We are a pretty chill household, with the occasional dinner or drink together, but also appreciate our own space. So looking for another working professional with similar vibes. 
Xavier will be moving back to France from 1st of Sept at which point our other roomie (Chris; mid 30s from South Africa) moves back into Xaviers' room. You will be sharing the 2 bedroom house with one other person at a time. 
There’s a separate toilet and bathroom with a washing machine, and a shared office space for everyone to use. Kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. 
The house is fully furnished, and the room is 18m2 with a 160X200 cm hemel bed, bureau, and wardrobe. We are open to taking a couple in the room if the match is right, this would be a 50 euro increase for energy costs. 

We are looking to find someone to rent the house for the whole period, so not just for the first two months or so. We ask one month damage deposit in advance. The price is 1100€ per month and starts from mid July for at least 4+ months, maybe even extending until the end of the year.
