About the place

A room is available immediately in our spacious apartment in Alphen aan den Rijn. The apartment is around 90 m², located on the 7th floor, and there are three people living here in total. You would therefore share the apartment with two other housemates.

The room itself is approximately 9 m² and is rented unfurnished. It has a large window with plenty of natural light and a nice open view over the Zegerplas lake. There is also a built-in wardrobe in the room which is completely yours to use.

The apartment has a large shared living room, a recently renovated kitchen, a west-facing balcony and secure bicycle storage downstairs. The bathroom is a little older at the moment, but a renovation is planned for the coming year.

One of the nicest things about the apartment is the location. Zegerplas and Park Zegersloot are very close by, so it is easy to go for a walk or run, swim, relax by the water or spend time outside. There are also some nice places around the lake, such as Sunset and Wet ’n Wild. For groceries and everyday shopping, De Ridderhof shopping centre is within walking distance.

Public transport is also convenient, with a bus stop very close to the apartment. Both Alphen aan den Rijn station and Leiden are easy to reach, which makes the room a good option if you study or work in Leiden as well.

At home we like to keep things relaxed and comfortable. Everyone has their own life and privacy, but it is also nice to occasionally have dinner together, have a drink or just catch up. Visitors are of course welcome, and having a partner or friend stay over occasionally is fine as long as everyone is considerate of each other.
