This sunny, charming and furnished 2 bedroom house measuring 75m2 with a great view and private boat dock is situated on the Ringvaart and within walking distance of Amsterdam with all it’s facilities. Technicaly the house is in Badhoevedorp, but Amsterdam (Nieuw-Sloten and De Aker)  with all the shops, Schiphol and major highways are on the other side of the Ringvaart. The Ring A10 (exit S107) and the A9, public transport (tramline 2 and serveal buslines) are best used to reach the house. There is enough free parking space in the street in front of the house. Also close by are shops, stores, restaurants, bars, sports facilities etc.  

The house:

Ground floor: From the elegant entrance with several original 50’s style elements you reach the living room with the seating area on the front side of the house with a great view of the Ringvaart with it’s own boat dock and the house boats. The living room is light and spacious and still has the original chimney. In the dining area, two large doors open into the terrace and the backyard. The modern kitchen is in the back of the house and can be reached from the hallway. It was renovated and is equipped with gas stove, extractor fan, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and a fridge with freezer. The kitchen also has a door to the backyard. The backyard is sunny and has several seating areas. It also has an entrance from the street which is shared with the neighbor. The whole house has wooden flooring and several large, built in closets. The toilet and cellar are also reached from the hallway on the ground floor.   

 

First floor: In the hallway on the first floor there is a work space with a desk and cabinets. The first bedroom is on the front side of the house and has a built-in closet. The second bedroom is at the back side of the house and is slightly larger. The spacious bathroom has a sink, cabinets, a shower and a bath. The whole house is heated by a well maintained heating system. The small attic is reached by a pull down ladder and is great for storage.

Garden: You have a garden which is southwest orientated. It’s not too big (roughly 60m2), but it has the exact right size to completely relax in spring and summer with a nice BBQ and a good glass of wine!

Selection criteria and procedure:
Income should be: minimum 4,5 times the rent. Proof of sufficient income is required.
Candidate needs to provide the following (if applicable): Valid passport or ID, 2 recent Pay slips, contact information from current landlord for referral.
Candidates will need to cooperate with and pass a credit check.

Applications will be handled on a first come - first serve basis. Secondly the owner will choose candidates that meet all requirements. The candidate that fits the requirements and criteria best will be selected.
