About the place

Because we're traveling with our family, we are looking for someone or a couple or family, to live in our apartment and take care of it (emptying the mailbox, keeping the apartment warm and dry, watering the plants—and most importantly, enjoying the apartment and the neighborhood!)

• 75 m2 with lots of windows and of light
• 2 bedrooms: one with a king-size bed, one with a bunk bed
• 2 balconies and a shared backyard with picnic tables, toys, and a trampoline
• Comfortable & zen
• Professional home office (Herman Miller office chair, electric sit/stand desk, widescreen monitor)

My wife and I have lived here for almost 10 years and enjoy the sunlight and greenery outside all the windows, as well as the various parks and beautiful walks.

🌿Location & Neighborhood
Our apartment is located in a beautiful, green, and family-friendly neighborhood. Within a 5-minute walk, you'll find yourself in various parks (Beatrixpark, Amstelpark, and the Amstel River) or on the charming Maasstraat with its authentic shops, trendy restaurants, and cafés.

Do you enjoy sports? Walking, running, cycling, rowing, or swimming are all just around the corner. Gyms, parks, cycle routes, and the Miranda swimming pool are also within a 5-minute walk, as are playgrounds and a petting zoo. Within 15 minutes, you can even stroll through the countryside with its windmills, farms, and the Amstel River.

And in the vening you can cycle to De Pijp or the city center in 10 minutes. You can also reach the city center by tram, metro, or train (5min walk).

🚲 Tip: The best way to explore Amsterdam is by bike. You can rent a bike at the train station (€4.45/day), or use one of our bikes.
