The current main resident will be staying abroad for 1 year and is looking for someone to live in the apartment during that period. The caretaker (or woonbewaarder) will receive a lease for 1 year and must deliver the apartment in good condition at the end of the lease period (June 15, 2026), after which the main occupant will return to the apartment.

The apartment is located on the 12th floor of a residential apartment building in Amsterdam North (Molenwijk). The apartment is fully furnished and has internet, TV, electricity and heating. A 2-burner electric stove, kettle, refrigerator, and washing machine are also available for use. The monthly cost of the apartment totals 900 EUR, including rent, service charges, heating, electricity, water, local taxes, internet/TV and use of home furnishings and appliances, payable in advance on the first of the month.

The apartment is suitable for 1 person. No resident children or pets are allowed in the apartment. Those interested in the apartment will be nominated and assessed by the relevant housing association and the municipality of Amsterdam as a candidate woonbewaarder. The woonbewaarder needs to pay a deposit of 1x the monthly rent (EUR 700) at the time of transfer. The woonbewaarder must also register with the municipality of Amsterdam.
