Hi, my name is Fabián. I'm 24 years old and I'm a jazz musician, and this year I'll be studying at Codarts on an Erasmus program ☺️ To give a little context about who I am and where I come from: I'm from Spain and I've been a musician for more than ten years. Throughout my life, I've learned to play a few instruments (saxophone, piano, flute, bass, etc.), but my favorite is definitely the saxophone. I'm currently studying in Valencia, but I'm from a nearby city called Castellón (small and pretty), where you can be at the beach in 20 minutes by bike and where it seems like it's almost always spring. I am passionate about art, and I love making plans that have to do with it (visiting museums, seeing concerts, painting, designing... basically anything). I enjoy nature and making plans for the outdoors, I love animas, meeting new people, going out, going to the gym, going to a bar for a drink, among other things. But most of the time I like to be by myself at home. I love having time for myself, and probably my favorite thing in the world is to stay at home with a blanket and read, watch a movie, listen to music, or just relax. That's why I think it's very important to have a quiet and healthy living enviroment. And finally, I consider myself a very tidy and clean person who is easy to live with. I started studying Industrial Design Engineering at THUAS in September, but already quit (because they were really bad at teaching). I have a part-time job since February. I'm going to study Industrial Design at TU Eindhoven from September, but I'm ready to move a few months earlier. My hobbies/interests are varied, but generally I like thinking about (abstract) stuff and designing/creating things. As a non smoker I prefer my surroundings smoke free although I can tolerate tobacco smoke to some extent as I have full understanding of people needing to smoke. I dont drink alcohol but enjoy it when people around me are having a swell time over beer or wine. At the same time. I dont do drugs but am liberal when it comes to the views on drugs. My general rule is, I dont do drugs but I dont put my nose in what other people do. When not working I enjoy spending my time at home or walking around with my photographic camera. Im an avid amatour photographer and shoot both in digital and on film. As I am a computer nerd by nature I prefer spending the time at home tinkering with my computers and doing online activities. Next to that I like to spend the evenings watching films or series or reading a good book. When it comes to my home Im very protective of it and I have the need to keep everything in order. While not a party type of any sort I do understand the value of inviting people to the home for some fun but generally I prefer meeting people out on the town so during weekends I might prefer to spend the whole day in one of Europes big cities for some fun. To provide additional security, I am able to pay up to 6 months of rent in advance and can also provide proof of sufficient savings. And I’m looking for a place where I can live for a year. My dogs are Shetland Sheepdogs (medium-sized), both under 10 kg. I am a professional dog groomer and dog trainer, and my dogs are very well-trained. They do not chew furniture or damage the property. After walks, I always clean them properly before bringing them inside. I’ll wash them every two weeks to keep them clean. Once my freelance visa is approved, I will be working as a groomer five days a week. I plan to work at a salon where I can bring my dogs with me, so they will not be left alone at home. I do not smoke and I do not drink alcohol. I am a responsible and reliable tenant. I lived in the UK and Australia for a year each so I’ve used to live in abroad. I take off my shoes when entering the home and always keep the place clean and well-maintained. I will arrive in the Netherlands on July 17, but I am able to start paying rent immediately if needed.
