This June I will have finished my Bachelor in Maastricht and the coming fall I will be starting my Master in Life Sciences at Utrecht University. I am a quiet and reserved person, I am also neat and like to keep things in order. I have been working as a waiter the past two years, and I plan to start searching for a new job in Utrecht once I arrive there. Hi there, my name is Jordan and I am a 29 year old undergraduate student from Los Angeles who will be doing an exchange at Utrecht University from August 2026 to August 2027. I will be studying law & political theory. Though I am a student and will not be working I will be receiving extensive financial aid through my home university and have a large pool of savings, so I will be able to meet whatever necessary income requirements. I also have a guarantor to assist me, if necessary. When I'm not studying I love to read, watch the NBA (go Lakers!), try new restaurants, and go to the movies. When the weather is nice I like to be outside with a good book or picnic. In a housing environment I like to keep things neat and organized and I am very respectful of other peoples' space/items/sleep, etc. I like to take it easy for the most part during the week, but I also enjoy a night out on the weekend. I am happy to have relaxed social gatherings at home like dinner parties, game nights, or film nights, too. When getting to know new housemates I think choosing a show to watch together, cooking a meal together, or chatting over a card/board game are all great ways to connect. I am a non-smoker and I do not have any pets. I love animals, though I would not be able to have any pets go into my room in a shared accommodation as I have an allergy. Hi! I’m Logan, an American student moving to Enschede to study Physiotherapy at Saxion University starting in September 2026. I’m currently 18 (turning 19 in November) and finishing up my last year of high school. Right now, I work part-time in luxury retail at Canada Goose in King of Prussia, which I’ve been doing since I was 17. It’s taught me a lot about responsibility, communication, and working with all kinds of people.
