Hoi! Ik ben Ema, een 23-jarige studente uit Litouwen en ik zoek een plek om te wonen na mijn afstuderen :) Ik ben erg netjes (ik ben ook degene die mijn huidige huis schoon houdt haha), vrij rustig omdat ik vaak met een koptelefoon op zit, en ook erg vriendelijk, dus ik kan goed met iedereen opschieten! Ik vind rust en een fijne sfeer in huis erg belangrijk, dus ik sta altijd open voor overleg en compromissen, zodat iedereen comfortabel kan samenleven en de huisregels goed werken. Ik ben creatief en hou van tekenen en knutselen :) En als ik niet aan het tekenen ben, lees ik meestal of kijk ik series — een beetje een nerd haha. Een extraatje als je met mij samenwoont: ik trakteer mijn huisgenoten bijna elke week op gratis donuts. Als je me uitnodigt voor een bezichtiging, laat ik je zien hoe! 😉

Hoi! Ik ben Imke en zit nu in mijn tweede jaar van Social Work aan de HAN. Ik woon nu al een tijdje op mezelf in Nijmegen en dat bevalt me heel erg goed. Ik heb het heel erg naar mijn zin in dit huis, maar helaas is dit onderhuur en ik zou heel graag een eigen plekje willen. Ik zit nu in het eerste jaar van Phocas, hier heb ik een ploeg met leuke meiden leren kennen. Waar ik vaak mee een drankje doe en samen mee eet. Ik hou ervan om creatief bezig te zijn. Ik speel gitaar en heb eigenlijk altijd wel een knutselproject lopen. De ene keer is dat kleien, de andere keer schilderen. Ik ben sociaal en praat graag, maar respecteer ook dat iedereen z'n eigen ruimte en rust nodig heeft. En een belangrijk puntje: schoonmaken zou ik niet omschrijven als mijn hobby, maar ik vind het wel heel belangrijk dat het huis netjes blijft. Lijkt mij leuk om kennis te maken!

My name is Dionysios Chatzoulis, though my friends call me Dion, and I am 21 years old (soon turning 22). I recently graduated from Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN, where I completed my degree in Biochemistry. During my studies, I developed a strong interest in drug development research, which inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in Medicinal Chemistry at Radboud University. I am very excited to continue my academic journey in the Netherlands. Throughout my time at Augsburg, I was a full-time student while also working part-time as an Event Assistant for the university. This position provided valuable financial support and strengthened my sense of responsibility and independence. Last summer, I received funding to conduct my first research project, focusing on the Fries Rearrangement reaction using alternative heating sources. My goal was to explore greener catalytic methods for a reaction widely used in the production of pharmaceuticals (such as paracetamol), fragrances, pesticides, and textile dyes. This experience confirmed my passion for research and my desire to contribute to scientific development. Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active. I was part of my university’s basketball team for the first 2 years and continue to play as a hobby. In my free time, I also enjoy walking and listening to music.
