In huis draag ik graag bij aan een goede sfeer, toon ik initiatief en vind ik het leuk om echt contact te hebben met mijn huisgenoten. Mijn hobby's zijn koken, lezen, gamen en sporten – behoorlijk origineel, toch? Wat sporten betreft heb ik altijd gehockeyd, en ik hoop dat in Utrecht weer op te pakken. Daarnaast ga ik graag een rondje hardlopen of doe ik aan krachttraining in de sportschool. Ik heb vanuit mijn studententijd al een aantal vrienden in Utrecht wonen, maar ik hoop natuurlijk ook weer nieuwe, leuke sociale contacten op te doen – te beginnen met een gezellig huis!

My name is Amir, I am half Moroccan, half German and grew up in Frankfurt, Germany. I am studying Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics at UvA and am now moving into my second year. Next to my studies, I work at a boutique hotel on Leidsegracht and am part of a student-led interviewing platform. When Im home, which doesnt happen too often these days, I like to read and relax mostly. I enjoy sharing music as well going to concerts or events of all kinds - from the Matthäus Passion at the Concertgebouw to the Bimhuis jazz club on Tuesdays with my friends or concerts at Paradiso. I also enjoy cooking (although that skill is still very much in development) and I ocassionally supplied my previous floormates with pancakes or some good soup.

Hey hey, I am about to start my Master’s in Molecular Medicine at EUR and am therefore looking for a place to live in Rotterdam, that maybe is even near the medicine campus (fingers crossed). Currently, I live in student housing in Dresden, Germany, with three flatmates. We get along very well, even with few formal rules, as we naturally clean up after one another. Would be great to find flatemates like this as well as have a nice kitchen to cook. Since I eespecially enjoy cooking evenings with my flatmates, even if they are not as frequent anymore due to our busy schedules. Apart from writing my Bachelor’s thesis, I spend my time playing field hockey, trying out new sports such as canoe polo, taking language classes (for example Japanese), and going out with friends. When I am not busy, I really appreciate having a place where I can relax watch a movie or read a bit.
