Mijn naam is Gwen Hagenaars, ik ben 19 jaar en woon momenteel nog in Leerdam. Vanaf september start ik met de opleiding Film aan de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU), waardoor ik op zoek ben naar een woonruimte in Utrecht. Ik ben een rustige, verantwoordelijke en nette huurder. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag creatief bezig, ga ik naar de bioscoop of spreek ik af met vrienden. Ik ga zorgvuldig om met mijn woonomgeving en kijk ernaar uit om in Utrecht te wonen en mij volledig op mijn studie te richten.

Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!
