I'm currently looking for an apartment or studio in Rotterdam, ideally in Crooswijk, Kralingen or Centrum, as these are the areas I like most and that would work well with my daily routine. My budget is around 1100 per month, and I'm hoping to move in asap of max 1st September. I'm open to different types of places, whether it's a small studio or a shared apartment, as long as it's in a calm and pleasant area. A bit about me: I'm serious, organized and I take good care of the places I live in. I don't smoke, and I'm sociable but also respectful of quiet time and other people's space, so I think I'd get along well with neighbors or flatmates. Sport is a big part of my life too, I run regularly, play tennis and golf, which keeps me active and disciplined, and I'll probably be looking for local clubs once I'm settled in. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!
