I’m Malik, 22, a Coastal and Marine Management student at Van Hall Larenstein (Leeuwarden). From January 2026 I’ll be in Amsterdam to do my minor at the University of Amsterdam (GWC), so I’m looking for a quiet and comfortable studio or small apartment. I am a working student and collaborate with Dutch companies and partners on coastal and marine projects in Senegal, so I need a stable place where I can focus on both study and work. I’m tidy, calm, non-smoking and I don’t have pets. I respect neighbours, house rules and I treat a place as if it were my own. I expect to stay in Amsterdam for about 6–12 months, depending on my study planning, and can provide proof of enrolment and income/guarantor if needed.

The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester.
