Ik ben Hidde, 17 jaar en woon nu in Almere. Op 12 juni kreeg ik te horen dat ik mijn diploma voor het Gymnasium heb behaald. Nu studeer ik Chemical Science and Engineering Universiteit van Twente. Omdat Almere best ver van Enschede ligt, ben ik zo snel mogelijk op zoek naar gezellige huisgenoten met een kamer waar ik ook serieus aan mijn studie kan werken. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik 2 keer per week boogschieten waar ik ook graag mee door zou willen gaan op de universiteit. Ik houd heel erg van bordspellen, of andere spellen wat dat betreft, dus op mij kan je wel rekenen om mee te doen met een spelletje. Om me voor te bereiden voor aankomend jaar had ik afgelopen jaar regelmatig gekookt voor mijn ouders en zusje, en was er achter gekomen dat ik het best leuk vind om te doen. Verder vind ik het ook niet erg om op te ruimen, want ook ik houd wel van een opgeruimde plek! Tijdens de Kick-in ben ik er ook achter gekomen dat ik wel van een feestje hier en daar houd.

Hi! My name is Laura and I'm a 21-year-old Psychology student from Croatia. I have been living, studying, and working part-time in Groningen for 3 years now, mostly on my own. Currently, I have a cozy small room in Helpman, but I am looking for something more spacious and with roommates - after 3 years on my own (and after growing up in quite a dynamic household back home), I must admit I miss the social atmosphere of sharing your living space with someone. I am currently in the third year of my bachelor, but I will prolong it for a semester to do a minor as well. I also plan on staying in Groningen for my master's. I am fluent in English, Croatian, and Italian (B2). My Dutch is a work in progress, so I am open to any and all opportunities to practice - you can speak to me only in Dutch if you want (we will both struggle but that's the price of learning).
