Hoi! Mijn naam is Lily, ik word in september 18 jaar en ik ruil het bruisende Brussel binnenkort in voor het mooie Utrecht. Vanaf het nieuwe collegejaar start ik aan de Universiteit Utrecht met de Academische Pabo. Ik wist al vroeg dat ik het onderwijs in wilde, en deze studie is voor mij de absolute droomstap. Thuis in Brussel ben ik een gezellige en levendige boel gewend: ik woon daar met mijn ouders, mijn broertje van 10 en mijn tweelingbroertje en -zusje van 4. Door dat dynamische gezin ben ik heel zorgzaam en zelfstandig ingesteld, heb ik geleerd om goed tegen een stootje te kunnen en weet ik als geen ander hoe je rekening houdt met elkaar in één huis. Omdat Utrecht een gloednieuw avontuur voor me is, zoek ik niet zomaar een vierkante meter, maar een gezellige thuisbasis. Ik ben perfect tweetalig (Nederlands en Frans) en spreek ook Engels, wat handig is in een internationale stad. Daarnaast neem ik graag wat Brusselse gezelligheid mee naar Utrecht: ik ben altijd in voor samen eten, borrelen of een filmavond, en als goedmaker voor mijn Belgische accent wil ik best een keer echte Vlaamse stoofvlees of wafels voor het huis maken! Hi! I'm Chris, 23, originally from Poland. I'm currently doing my Master's in Computer Science, and from September I'll also be starting a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft. I'm looking for a place to call home for the next couple of years while I complete my degrees. I've moved around quite a bit over the past few years, including spending six months in Canada on exchange, so I'm very comfortable living with different people and adapting to new environments. I'm clean, responsible and respectful of other people's privacy and space. My studies keep me pretty busy during the week, so I appreciate having a peaceful home, but I'm definitely not antisocial – I enjoy cooking together, watching a movie, or having a good conversation over dinner. Outside of studying, travelling is probably my biggest passion – I'm currently at 50+ countries and still counting! I also love cooking, movies, exploring new places and meeting people from different backgrounds. I'm a non-smoker and don't have any pets. Alongside my studies, I run my own business and also have a guarantor with a stable income, so I can provide financial security when required.
