My name is Mika and I am about to start my second year studying Literary and Cultural Analysis by UVA, after having moved here from Oslo last year. My native languages are English and Norwegian (so I understand Swedish and Danish by extension), and I can understand Dutch decently. A few of my favourite things include: meeting and listening to new people, creative projects that turn out terrible, and any "waiting"-activity (e.g., podcasts, books, music, journals, coffee). My favourite parts of living in Amsterdam are the immersive student culture, late bike rides with friends, and my Cineville pass.
