Hi! I'm Roni and I'm looking for a flat/room. A bit about me: I'm from Barcelona and currently I work at the VU as a lecturer. I work from the office always, and weekends I can be out and about quite a bit. So even if I am probably not going to be around much, I still want to find a place that feels like a home and where people take care of the shared space. I have lived in many different shared houses already, I'm used to it and I'm fairly easy to get along with and adaptable. I am a very clean person (I have a passion for ironing) and also not a great cook (so I won't be taking up many hours the kitchen). I'm into hobbies ranging from french film to house parties. I will talk to my family quite a bit on the phone, but I have learnt to tone down the Spanish volume to acceptable standards. Also, not a smoker! I am Marjane. I live in Lyon, France and I am preparing for a French/British Baccalaureate with biology and social and economic sciences as my main subjects. I want to study psychology because I’m interested in human behaviors. Later on, I want to mix psychology with cognitive sciences or move to Neuro-psychology. Climbing is very much part of our family culture, we often go on climbing holidays with my parents and my brother in the cliffs near Lyon or in the Alps. I cycle to college every day. I also play trumpet in a brass Orchestra. It’s quite fun and a good way to meet nice people. We moved to Lyon when I was 11. Before that we were living in Southampton, UK. It was very cosmopolitan, I grew up with kids from Italy, Latin America, India, Poland etc... This is why I am very excited to study in Leiden to experience this cultural diversity that I enjoyed so much as a kid. Being the eldest sibling in a family with two children, taking care of others has always been a pleasure. That is also why I take care of young children monthly with a scout non-profit organisation.
