I recently graduated in Audiovisual Systems Engineering at UPF (Barcelona) and have been working as a technician for the Catalan public television (TV3). This October 2026, I’m moving to Amsterdam to continue my education with a Full-time Advanced Diploma in Music Production & Sound Engineering at the Abbey Road Institute. As a housemate, I consider myself very clean, organized, and respectful of everyone's privacy and quiet hours, especially since I’ll be focusing a lot on my studies. At the same time, I’m an easygoing and friendly guy who enjoys a good chat, sharing a coffee, or cooking a nice meal together from time to time. I am a non-smoker and have no pets (though I absolutely love animals if you have any!). I am looking for a room for the academic year where city registration is possible, as I need to make sure all my student paperwork is correct and official from day one. Hello! I'm Rúben and I am from Portugal. I'm a pianist and a newcomer to Maastricht. My musical interests vary a lot but I have a particular deep passion for both contemporary music and video game soundtracks. I am part of a quite active quartet and so most of the time I am busy scheduling concerts and rehearsals for us. My hobbies are quite minimal: reading, writing a bit, and playing on the Switch. At least twice a week I also like to go out running, truly only so I can say I do some sport. Now about behaviour, although I am quite social I am a very quiet person, this means that I will always try to the little noise with others around (however, just to be clear, if left alone, I may just leave music a bit loud...). I also like to schedule my time on the kitchen, I usually cook for the next two to three days so I'll be taking at least 1h30/2h of the kitchen's at least twice or thrice a week.
