Hi! My name is Fanney, I’m 24 years old and moving from Iceland to Leiden to continue my Psychology studies. I’ve completed my first years of university here in Iceland and I’m now looking for a calm and comfortable place to live during my studies in the Netherlands. A little about me: I’m a tidy, easygoing and respectful person who enjoys cooking, cycling, spending time outdoors, watching movies and getting to know new people. I don’t smoke or party, and I really value a peaceful and friendly home environment where everyone feels comfortable. I’m looking for a long-term place in or around Leiden from around August/September. Financially, everything is arranged through savings and student financing. I’ve also been learning Dutch since 2024, although I’m still very much a beginner but feel free to write in Dutch🙂

Hoi hoi! Ik ben Moritz, 24 jaar, een architect uit Duitsland, en ik verhuis dit komende semester naar Delft om te starten met mijn Master aan de TU Delft. Na een tijdje fulltime te hebben gewerkt (en een jaar in Kopenhagen te hebben gewoond), heb ik enorm veel zin om het studentenleven weer op te pakken. Design en architectuur spelen natuurlijk een grote rol in mijn leven, maar als ik niet aan het schetsen ben, maak ik meestal muziek (met koptelefoon, dus niemand zal er last van hebben :) ), ben ik aan het schilderen of doe ik aan sport. Ik ben op dit moment ook Nederlands aan het leren. Als huisgenoot ben ik relaxed, netjes en makkelijk in de omgang. Ik hou ervan om de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes opgeruimd te houden en geniet van een gezellige sfeer in huis - of dat nu een snelle koffie in de ochtend is of af en toe samen koken. I'm Chani, 27, and I work in quality assurance for medical technology. For the past five years I've built and run the quality systems behind medical devices , most recently as senior QA officer on an autonomous medical robot, and now as quality and risk lead at Niavicta, where I'm also co-founder. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester.
