My name is Rui Marques, I am Portuguese and 25 years old. I am looking for a studio/apartment/house for me and my girlfriend, Joana Ferreira, Portuguese and also 25 years old.  Both of us are doing our PhD in Cancer Researcher in Portugal, together with the Leiden University Medical Center. Our monthly payment is provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology, which is the government entity in Portugal responsible for paying PhD students. Each of us earns 2218€ per month, with also a first additional income for housing deposits and travel. We can provide the needed documents to prove this. Both of us are well humored, calm, organized and unproblematic people. We both give a lot of importance to a clean, organized and quiet home.We enjoy hanging out and getting to know new places, go on walks and participate in the community around us but also enjoy cozy days at home watching movies and TV shows. I must add that I have already lived in Leiden for 6 months from july to december 2025 (I can also send proof of this and provide contact of my previous landlords ). This gives me already a notion of what it is like living in the Netherlands. Additionally we have 2 small dogs. Well behaved, trained and used to live indoors. Because of that we are open to pay a caution of value that you see fit. To show you we are serious in staying in the Netherlands and that we are able to deal with rental we are open to pay upfront X months of rent (depending on the rent amount). We can move in on the first weeks of March. As we are in Portugal currently we are not able to visit the apartment. Mijn naam is Tiemen en ik zoek een kamer in Den Haag! Dit omdat ik het studentenhuis waar ik nu in woon toch niet bij me vind passen… De mensen matchen toch echt niet met mij en ook zijn er wat mij betreft teveel mensen, wat de reden is dat ik op zoek ben naar een ander leuk huis in Den Haag waar de mensen veel leuker zijn!! Op het moment ben ik bezig met mijn afstudeerstage voor de studie werktuigbouwkunde (welke ik officieel nog in Groningen doe en waar ik hiervoor ook 4 jaar heb gewoond). Deze afstudeerstage doe ik bij een ingenieursbureau vlak naast DH Centraal (Deerns), welke in principe aan het einde van deze maand is afgerond. Hierna ben ik van plan om een half jaar wat te werken (nog wel officieel ingeschreven als student, dus geen DUWO problemen) ennn wil ik vanaf september de master Industrial Design aan de KABK gaan doen!
